Salt Lake City, Utah

I have been inform that I needed to update my blog, so here I am. I have not been traveling in the past couple of weeks, but here is another one of my 'before the blog' installs. In July of 2008, I traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah. SLC is a lot different from what I thought it was going to be. SLC is in a valley and I thought it was on a mountain. Think more Boulder than Denver (I write what I know). SLC is still a beautiful city because the Mormon know how to keep up their landscaping.

Houston, Texas

Last weekend, I took a travel to southern Texas and the city of Houston. I got to see any different sites. First, I went to a beer tasting at Saint Arnold's Brewery. There was a lot of beer to taste, but also a lot to learn about. Saint Arnold is the patron saint of breweries. He also saved a lot of people because they were drinking water and getting sick, so he turned them onto beer which saved lives.

Here I am in the tasting glass.

Next, we visited Minute Maid Park which the Houston Astros play. I care more for Coors Field because I am from Denver, but I love all the ballparks around the country.

Strike 'Em Out!

Overall my day trip in Houston was exciting. Houston has a lot of cute houses close to Rice University and good shopping in Rice Village. Houston, we don't have a problem.

Happy Travels until next time, Seymour.

Dallas, Texas

Sorry for the long delay between posts, I was still stuck inside the purse and away from the computer. About two weeks ago I traveled to downtown Dallas to the West End. I got to see the marine animals. Here are some highlights:

Downtown Dallas is a good place to go and walk around. There are also good museums. One museum is the Sixth Floor Museum and Dealy Plaza. Just be careful of the crazies!

See you on the Road,
Seymour

Boulder, Colorado

In between my travels, I will highlight some of my past travels. This is my very first trip to Boulder, Colorado in May of 2008.

At the Celestial Seasonings Factory. It was very educational to see how tea is packaged and shipped out to stores around the country and the world.

Please note: It was May and it had snowed that day.

With the Tulips on Pearl Street. They were very beautiful and bigger than me.

This is not a good picture, I know. But when in Boulder, you have to see the Flat Irons. (I love mountains). The snow stopped in the morning, but it was foggy the whole day. The fog let up for a second to get this picture, but before we could get back to the park to see them closer, the fog dropped again. Too bad.

I enjoyed Boulder. Overall my rating of Boulder would be: 4 Stars. There was great shopping on Pearl, educational activities, and the landscape was the best.

Happy Travels until next time, Seymour.

Welcome

My name is Seymour. That is me. I travel around and get my picture taken everywhere.

Some of my hobbies are: art museums, mountains, seeing new places, checking out famous places and much more.

Check back to see all the places that I have been.

This is me and my friends the hedgehogs.

This weekend I went to the West End in Dallas. This the window where Oswald shot JFK. (There is a good museum on the 6th Floor...you should check it out.)
